Sundays in the Park: Lyndale Park Rose Garden, Minneapolis

What do you do on your Sundays.  Ours are usually spent at church and then some QT with the family.  We often go on walks or visit parks (while this isn’t today, because we are back in Michigan, I thought I’d share it).  One day this summer while we were in Minneapolis, we visited the Rose Garden by Lake Harriet.  I’ve said before that Minneapolis has such beautiful parks and it still holds true.  There is no way we could have visited them all while we visited, though we would have liked to.

The Rose Garden is definitely worth a visit, but beware that it isn’t too big.  Don’t get your hopes up like I did, thinking you’ll see acres of roses.  Instead its just a small field with orderly rows of rose bushes. I was still beautiful and peaceful.  Also, some gorgeous houses, the lake and other parks surround the Rose Garden.  The whole area is worth a visit.  So if you are in town, make a stop.  The actual address is: 4124 Roseway Road
